Rob Ruck

Mr. Ruck is an expert in realigning diversified operations to increase efficiency, drive performance and maintain high operational standards while improving employee and customer satisfaction. His track record of excellence was earned at Fortune 1000 companies such as Honeywell, AlliedSignal, Anixter, and Pentacon Pacific.
Consolidated Industries, WDC Exploration and Wells. Rob is also experienced with private equity-backed investments.

Steve Walford

Mr. Walford is the Vice President, General Manager at Airborne Engines Ltd.  Steve is responsible for the growth strategy and the day-to-day (P&L) operations of the business.  Before joining Airborne in 2018, Steve worked for over 27 years at the business entity that transformed from Canadian Helicopters to Vector Aerospace, which was ultimately then purchased by StandardAero Ltd.  During his 27 years with Vector Aerospace, Steve had the opportunity to lead teams that supported a variety of key functions, Customer Service, Sales, Contracts, Asset Management, and Supply Chain.Steve’s opportunity to gain experience and expertise in the different facets of the Aviation Industry provided a strong basis for his current role as VP General Manager. With over 30 years of Aviation specific experience, Steve has focused on internal improvements that support growth of the business, with customer satisfaction at the forefront of those efforts.Steve has built teams that have received numerous customer service awards, sat on industry councils, and led continuous improvement projects in an engine MRO environment.

CFO

Shahbaz Ahmed

Mr. Ahmed is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) from
British Columbia, Canada and holds Master of Business Administration, Chartered
Manager, Chartered Corporate Secretaries and Bachelor of Commerce from
Pakistan. His career span is over 28 years, after spending 14 years in Pakistan
at few multinational companies, he worked at Emircom LLc in UAE from 2006 to
2010 and then moved to Canada in 2010. 

Before joining Airborne Engines Ltd., in 2019, he worked at leadership positions with A&R Metal Industries, Richmond BC, Conair Group Inc., Abbotsford BC and The Canadian Bar Association Vancouver BC. His expertise includes Aviation, manufacturing, member services, not for profit and IT sector. He also led few national level Internet exchange extension, data center and  aircraft conversion projects.

Max Rundle

Mr. Rundle is the Production Manager at Airborne Engines where he oversees the technical operations of the business including special repair processes. An Aerospace graduate from British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2006, Mr. Rundle has earned a bespoke range of knowledge from hands on experience as a technical expert to an emerging business leader in the Aviation Industry.

Mr. Rundle possesses a comprehensive spectrum of aerospace and leadership experiences including engine maintenance and regulatory compliance to operational integration and team building. Leveraging over 15 years of ground-up experience, Mr. Rundle’s passion for the Aerospace sector has driven success in process improvement, employee satisfaction and improved product quality.
